Hi Ann
I'm afraid I don't know for sure, I have little doubt others will come =
back and tell you.
Anyone with an interest in Wedmore would do well to purchase an =
excellent book, " =
=
=
The New Wedmore Chronicles" published last =
year by Hazel Hudson. I'm in the course of reading it and I suspect the =
answer is in the book.
Wall is the most common name, I'm pretty sure, in the Wedmore Registers =
and there are many Duckett. However Little Somerfield appears to be in =
Wiltshire someway away from Wedmore.
What evidence do have that your Wall or Duckett came from Wedmore?
There are a number of Wall of Wedmore descendants in Australia and I =
suspect some in New Zealand. I cannot see a Cornelius Wall or Fanny =
Duckett in St. Mary's baptisms.
I look forward to hearing more from you.
Regards
John V Hayward

Hello John,
Noted your listing on the internet. Could you tell me how many =
cemeterys there are in Wedmore itself. I know of St Marys Churchyard, =
are there any others. I have an interest in the name Duckett. We also =
have a family member here whose mother was Fanny Gertrude Duckett and =
married Cornelius Wall about 1891 at Little Somerford. One of their =
daughters Dorothy Wall married Percy Robert Smith at Little Somerford =
Church in 1922 and immigrated to New Zealand. If there are Wall family =
members out there I would like contact.=20
Cheers,Anne Sandford. New Zealand.
