In case no one else answers your query on the churchyards: In the 1830s the
parish of Wedmore was divided in three, and Blackford and Theale became
parishes with their own churches. In addition there has been, what is now a
partly municipal cemetery in Wedmore since the 1930s; when that opened the
churchyard at Wedmore was closed except for special circumstances. The
Baptist & Methodist Chapels have their own graveyards in Wedmore as has the
Chapel at Crickham. Matthew.
