I've researching James Dyer the founder of Dyersville.
The family story is he was the uncle or nephew of Martha Dyer. Do you have
the names of James Dyer Sr(James Dyer, father) and how far back have you
trace your Dyer line.
the information I have for Martha Dyer 1812 (Sp Thomas Jefferson Tharp) is
she may have been born in NY state daughter of Thomas and Elizabeth Dyer.
