Thanks for your response, Stanley. I can't find any link to the name.
George Redman married Louisa Jane Fear in Mark in 1869 and their son George
Castle was born in Iowa. Louisa Jane was the daughter of Robert William
Fear and Betsey Cox Fear. George came to America in 1851 and lived in the
Dyersville, Iowa area until 1872 and George Castle was born after that. We
have always been curious about his middle name and where it came from.
