I do not know how Michael took the panorama from Wedmore church
tower. When I make panoramas I use the stitch program that is in the
software pakage when one buys a Canon camera. It is easy to use,
especially with a Canon camera with 'panoramas' as one of its shooting
modes when the correct overlaps can be achieved easily. There are lots of other programs which will do the same thing.
360 degree panoramas are not easy because of the variation in the
lighting conditions as you go round in a circle. It is best to have
the camera horizontally set up on a tripod otherwise the pictures get
out of line and when you have cropped them horizontally there is
nothing left!
