Hi Stanley
Thanks so much for your information - it is very much appreciated.
I had previously asked my webmaster but he had little idea other than to
mention the panorama feature would be a good addition.
I'll be dropping in to our local photographic store to get all the details
on the cameras - I had previously thought there was some special software
that took into account the splicing and distortion that otherwise would
ensue from taking individual photos.
Your caution regarding the varying light conditions and having a tripod will
be taken into account.
Once again thanks for the info.
P.S. If you venture into the public bar at the George you might wish to ask
about the photo of the publican's dog Gemma (I think that's the correct
spelling).
My wife and I absolutely adore her and look forward to seeing her when we
visit from Canada every other year.
Just before we were to depart after staying at the George for three days I
had a marvellous opportunity to take a photo of her in view that she is
getting on in age and we might not see her again.
It was all the more fortunate as Gemma was not co-operating until she saw
Mrs.Bakers cat in the carpark whereupon she became much more alert and
poised.
We sent a copy to the landlord and his wife as we thought the photo came out
so well - they responded that they would keep the photo until Gemma passes
on and then hang it in the bar.
Ask to see it if you pass by the George.
All the best
Martin
