I am still trying to piece together the information on the REDMAN family =
from Wedmore/Blackford. Does anyone have access to the 1841 census? I =
am specifically interested in John and Hester Redman. Their children as =
listed in the 1851 census were: William, George, Maria and Jane. =
George was my great-grandfather who came to America. =20

We recently visited Wedmore and had a wonderful time. Everyone there =
was very helpful and friendly. The George Hotel was great. In fact, =
John Hodge's daughter-in-law was formerly a Redman so it was a great =
connection. Thanks to the list for recommending the hotel.

Thanks for any assistance or guidance on how to access the 1841 census.
