I agree with Lynn in as far as I too wasted a lot of credits using the =
site for BMDs. However, I find the 1861 census excellent, although of =
course there are only a limited number of counties up. Pat

name it only gives you the page where that name should be if there is =
a
registration and you then pay to view the page which may or may not =
have
anything on it of use. So for me it was rather disappointing although =
it did
serve my purpose at the time. The only advantage was I could search =
from
home rather than visiting the library but the library is free. I don't =
think
I'd bother again even when they do get all the 1861 census up.
