We share common ancestors, Hugh Roper is my GGGGgrandfather, I am descended
from his son Thomas, Mary Ann's brother. I am sorry to say, though, that I
did not realize that I had so many American "cousins". I live in Somerset
NEW JERSEY, and my branch of the Ropers came over around 1885, settling in
IN, PA, andNJ; my Aunt "Polly" aka, Mary Anne Roper (b. 1871)came over
around 1890.
