Great to hear from you!  Are you new to the Wedmore list?  I ask because I have
written several other times and there are several others researching this
line:  Roger Roper from Sidney, AU and Simon Roper in FL.
I actually descend directly from Hugh and Jane Roper's daughter, Betsey
(Elizabeth) and George Tincknell (son of Zebedee Padfield and, I assume, a
Tincknell girl, name unknown).  Will respond to you at your e-mail address as I
