Hi,  
     I'm new to the list and wondered if anyone had further information on 
the above or their spouses.  I have William Roper b unk d 2-24-1798 married Anne 
Williams 1771.  I descend from their son Hugh Roper b abt. 1774, Wedmore d 
April 8, 1846, Crickham.  (My cousins Sandi and Kristin who are on this list, 
also descend from Hugh and William Roper.)  My line from Hugh and his second 
wife Jane Davis is his daughter Jane Roper who married Samuel Evans, February 28, 
1849, Axbridge.  Samuel Evans father was William Evans birthdate unk. who we 
believe was born in Bristol.  I do not know the wife of William Evans.  Their 
children were Samuel Evans b 1823, Cheddar or Bristol, Forest Evans b 1815 m 
Eliza McDonigal, Flower Evans b Abt. 1812 m John Irish, Fannie Evans b Abt. 
1818, m John Lumber, Elizabeth Evans, Harriet Evans, Sarah Evans b abt. 1822, and 
Edwin Evans b 1825.  Most of the children were married in Axbridge.  We 
believe that they were living in Cheddar and grew up there but may not have all 
been born there.  Also, I have no information for Jane Davis, Hugh Roper's second 
wife.  Her birth years vary from 1874 to 1894, however, I believe it may have 
been closer to 1884.  I have not found a marriage record yet for her and Hugh.
Any idea on how to locate more information?  Thank you for any help.
